The Chicago Canine Rescue Foundation (CCR) is dedicated to giving a second chance to many dogs who have been overlooked, passed over, or forgotten. Founded in 2001, their mission is to find lifelong, loving homes for homeless dogs in the Chicagoland area and beyond. To date, they have saved over 8,000 dogs and puppies. CCR receives dogs from open-intake animal shelters, rural partners with limited adoption resources, and families unable to care for their pets. They provide medical treatment, emotional and behavioral support, and adoption services. CCR is committed to helping dogs of all ages, sizes, and backgrounds, striving to match them with the perfect family. Their work is made possible through the support of donors, volunteers, fosters, and advocates.
