About
Chicago House is a compassionate organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS since 1985.
Their mission is to empower those living with or vulnerable to HIV/AIDS to lead healthy, dignified lives. They achieve this through providing housing, health, and employment services.
Chicago House envisions an HIV-free future and is actively involved in the global "Getting to Zero" effort, aiming to eliminate the HIV epidemic by 2030.
Their services include housing for low-income individuals and families facing chronic homelessness or unstable housing due to HIV, health services to prevent new HIV transmissions, employment assistance for LGBTQ+ individuals, those impacted by HIV, or living with a disability, and comprehensive support for transgender, nonbinary, or gender expansive individuals through their TransLife Care program.
